Dr. Arun Jaura, the Chief Technology Officer, leads our RPSCoE; the Tech Center and HASETRI.

A veteran technologist and business leader with more than four decades of rich experiences in technology with digital and strategic mindset that drives innovation and competitiveness. He is having multi-regional experience in off-road & on road Mobility, Smarts, B2C, EV, AI, Connectivity solutions, cloud and digital solutions pertinent to mobility ecosystems.

Global working experiences in 3 continents along with cultural exposures in the US, Canada, India and France. Starting his career in DRDO, Dr. Jaura has managed businesses for the Defence, Ford, Eaton, Mahindra, Traktion, Michelin and Hero. Dr. Jaura has been Managing Director for Michelin India Technology Center for seven years. He has held Board positions, country & regional roles that resulted into value to stake holders. Prior to joining JK Tyre, Dr. Jaura has served Hero MotoCorp as Chief Technology Officer.

Dr. Jaura has five patents and he is a Technical Fellow of SAE International. He has been founding members of Government’s National Mission of Electric Mobility since 2013.

Academically, Dr. Jaura is M Tech (Applied Digital Techniques for Weapon Systems) from IIT, Madras, Ph D (Robots using dexterity & AI techniques for Smart assembly) from Concordia University. He had Executive Education on Global Program for Management Development in University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business and Harvard Business School.
